Penetrating Lower Facial Injury by a Reinforcing Rod

ABSTRACT
Important structures are closely concentrated located on the facial area, penetrating facial injury can be disaster. This report described an lucky penetrating facial injury in a 66-year-old woman who was injured on her lower face with a reinforcing rod. She was fall over potato stem. A reinforcing rod penetrated her lower face. Craniofacial CT was performed to check the associated injuries. There was no associated important structure injury. Primary repair was done. There was no complications associated injury. (J Korean Wound Management Soc 2014;10:32-34)
