| ABSTRACT |
|
Proper initial assessment is fundamental in any type of wound management. In skin and soft tissue defects, accurate assessment of any pockets is important. Overlooking a hidden pocket may lead to severe abscess formation, which may can cause systemic infection and sepsis. The authors present a case series of soft tissue defects with large pocket formation. (J Korean Wound Management Soc 2012;8:13-15) |
