ABSTRACT
Morel-Lavallée lesion is a degloving injury of the interface between the subcutaneous fat and the underlying fascia. We experienced a case of a 69-year old female patient with a large cystic lesion of the lateral surface of her left thigh, which increased in size over a period of two months. MRI revealed an ovoid cyst. The patient was managed successfully with conservative treatment consisting of serial aspirations, external compression with elastic bandages and immobilization. The case is presented along with a review of literature. (J Korean Wound Management Soc 2015;11:20-23)
